In celebration of their new, exquisitely delicious and exclusively Australian Lilly Pilly and Blueberry Conserve, Bonne Maman honoured “Good Mothers” everywhere, hosting their fourth annual Mother’s Day Breakfast on Wednesday, 6th May 2015 at The Potting Shed, The Grounds of Alexandria in Sydney.
Among the quaint garden setting, over eighty guests including media and VIP’s joined the Mother’s Day festivities. Attendees included Amber Sherlock (Channel 9 News), Candice Dixon & Teigan Nash (Saturday Disney), Mia Morrissey (The Voice) and mother, celebrity talent manager Lizzy Morrissey. Media in attendance included Better Homes and Gardens Magazine, New Idea, Delicious Magazine and Australian Women’s Weekly, MiNDFOOD and The Sunday Telegraph.
The Potting Shed was adorned in glossy, green lilly pilly plants, surrounding guests with the star ingredient of Bonne Maman’s luscious, limited edition Blueberry and Lilly Pilly Conserve.
During the course of the morning, guests were invited to observe and participate in an exciting cooking demonstration, conducted by Outback Chef and Native Bush Food Expert, Jude Mayall, showcasing the traditional jam-making process and giving guests a chance to get their hands dirty, playing with the pleasant Australian flavours of the conserve. Jude keenly demonstrated the gourmet quality of Bonne Maman conserves and the high quality whole fruits used in every signature jar of Bonne Maman.
Guests dined on a custom menu created by The Grounds’ chefs, incorporating the native Australian and Lilly Pilly themes throughout. Guests were treated to granola cups layered with Blueberry and Lilly Pilly Conserve on arrival, along with a delectable Blueberry and Lilly Pilly Clafoutis with Vanilla Chantilly, grilled gourmet sausage with caramelised onions and a side of Blueberry and Lilly Pilly sauce. The menu was completed by a selection of mouth-watering pastries from The Grounds’ in-house patisserie.
The annual Bonne Maman Mother’s Day breakfast was a true Mother’s Day celebration, with guests departing with a gift bag of Bonne Maman goodies and well-wishes for their own “Good Mothers” for Mother’s Day.
